- ReadBucketAsync: the once-per-device "sum-read chunk failed" Warning fires only after a successful
connect; a connect/backoff failure is the connect path's to report. TwinCATSumChunkWarningTests pins
it (no warning across connect failures, exactly one across two later failing sum polls; red without
the guard) plus a source guard that ReadGroupAsync builds its SumRead only via CreateSumRead.
- Docs: diagnostics live-gated via the driver harness (/hosts not exercised); TC2 costs 8 reads on the
first tick and after each reconnect, then <= 4; read counts attributed to the unit tests.

Read-only live gate on Elma presses Z35474 (TC3 3.1.4024) and Z34834 (TC2 2.11):
- Sum-read: every chunk came back BadCommunicationError. Beckhoff's
SumRead(IList<IgIoSumReadEntity>) ctor casts to IList<SumDataEntity>, which
throws InvalidCastException for a List<> (only an array survives via
covariance). The fake-client tests never built a real SumRead. New
AdsTwinCATClient.CreateSumRead passes an array; TwinCATSumReadConstructionTests
pins it (red on the List form) plus a falsifiability control on the library.
After the fix: 59 tags, status identical everywhere, values identical on every
non-moving tag, ~0.35-0.66 s vs ~2.7 s per poll; TC2 CE 2.11 answers sum reads.
- An unexpected sum chunk failure now logs one Warning per device (it was
invisible: the health message was overwritten by the next good read).
- Diagnostics: TC2 has no TwinCAT_SystemInfoVarList; fall back to .SYSTEMINFO /
.SYSTEMTASKINFOARR[1] once the TC3 name answers not-found (live: all six keys).
- #612 browse: Flat verified on TC3 (10,770 leaves; VirtualTree 1,459 strict
subset) — comment and docs updated, no load-mode option needed.

Strict width+kind eligibility for sum-batched scalars (others read singly); latch only on ADS
1793/1794, split 1792/1797/1798 without latching; 32 KiB per-command budget and 500-item ceiling;
short sum response handled per item. Diagnostics: opt-in diagnosticsEnabled (default off), reuse the
probe's ReadState, sample after the host-state transition, JitterMs renamed HeadroomMs, compact
per-device line so many devices fit the 16-entry cap, unavailable-symbol latch cleared on reconnect.
AdminUI: min/max on sum-read max, diagnostics checkbox. Pure planner extracted and unit-tested.

Sum-read (#310): batches a poll's reads per device into sum commands capped at sumReadMaxItems,
per-item ADS errors mapped per tag, falls back to individual reads when the target refuses the
command. Diagnostics (#314): ADS state, app name, online-change count, task cycle/exec/jitter via
IDriverDiagnostics. Re-implemented against the current raw-byte read path (stranded auto/driver-gaps
commits predate it). Sum-write not ported. Unit tests only; live gate pending a route.

Live on Z33856 a UInt tag over .ARRFAULTCODE (ARRAY [0..12] OF UINT) made the
Beckhoff read throw - BadCommunicationError and a Degraded driver - while the
native path reported BadTypeMismatch. CheckRead now refuses a scalar declared
over an array (by category, so an alias of an array type is caught), pointing
at the array-tag / element-path alternatives.
A native notification for MAIN.Flags.3 / .ADSSTATE_RUN.0 was registered on the
literal WORD.N path, which ADS has no symbol for: live on the TC 2.11 Elma
cleaner Z33856 it failed with DeviceSymbolNotFound, and that registration
error tore down the whole subscribe call. The read path already reads the
parent word; the notification now does the same - it registers the parent as
raw bytes at its resolved width and reads the bit (TwinCATBitAccess), refusing
a bit outside the parent or a non-integer parent with BadTypeMismatch.
An array tag subscribed natively used to register only its declared scalar
(publishing element 0 at Good) and was then refused wholesale with
BadTypeMismatch. The driver now hands the authored ArrayLength to the client,
which registers the whole array as raw bytes and decodes every notification.
- TwinCATTypeGuard.CheckArray plans the layout from the RESOLVED array type:
element checked like a scalar notification (width / float kind / string
kind); STRING(n)/WSTRING(n) elements stride n+1 / 2(n+1); multi-dim arrays
flattened in PLC memory order; an authored ArrayLength shorter than the PLC
array reads the leading sub-range, a longer one is refused; struct / pointer
/ nested-array elements, non-array symbols and VAR_IN_OUT refs are refused.
- CheckNotificationSize caps a native array at 128 KiB (largest registration
proven on a live TC 2.11 target); above it the tag is refused BadOutOfRange.
- TwinCATArrayCodec decodes the bytes into the element-typed CLR array.
- The poll read uses the same plan + codec instead of the Beckhoff typed array
read, which failed live for most real arrays (exact CLR element type, rank-N
for multi-dim, member arrays sliced by the under-reported TC2 symbol size).
- TwinCATNotificationRefusedException carries the refusal's status; the type
mismatch derives from it and the driver isolates either per tag.
Found by the read-only live gate against the TwinCAT 2.11 Elma cleaners
Z33856 / Z33733:
- The Beckhoff library reports a TC2 dotted MEMBER symbol's ByteSize as if the
PLC's byte count were a bit count (STRING(80) -> 11, INT -> 1, UDINT -> 1)
while DataType.ByteSize is right (81/2/4, raw SYM_INFOBYNAMEEX says 81). The
previous commit's typeof(byte[]) read sliced by the symbol size, so
.OPC_MACHINEDATA.PROCESSSTATUS read "ready for o" at Good; the notification
width check would also have refused every numeric member. The shape now takes
the resolved type's size, and string reads go by index group/offset (or a
fresh handle for 0xF005) at that width.
- P_INITINPUT_ACTION.SLOTID is "STRING(20) (VAR_IN_OUT)" - a 4-byte reference -
but resolves to a plain STRING(20); a String tag read 21 bytes at the pointer
as text at Good. The symbol's own VAR_IN_OUT marker now classifies it
NonScalar -> BadTypeMismatch.
Port of the ignitionoee TwinCAT string + type-reconciliation fixes onto the
Beckhoff-library client:
- STRING/WSTRING subscriptions never worked: AddDeviceNotificationExAsync was
called with typeof(string) and no length, and the Beckhoff any-type
marshaller throws ArgumentNullException for a string without one, so one
string tag tore down its whole subscribe call. A string now registers the
PLC's own byte width as raw bytes (0.19.2: STRING(n) of any n).
- Strings are read as raw bytes and decoded by TwinCATStringCodec. The
Beckhoff marshaller already cut a read at the first NUL (0.19.3 / TwinCAT-007
were not defects on the read path); the codec keeps that rule for both STRING
and WSTRING and extends it to the new notification path. A STRING now decodes
as Windows-1252 (TwinCAT-010) - or UTF-8 when the target reports UTF-8
strings - instead of the host culture's ANSI code page the Beckhoff
marshaller falls back to (1250 on a Polish host, 1251 Cyrillic, ...).
- TwinCATTypeGuard (TwinCAT-002/-008): a read refuses a numeric tag over a PLC
string (and vice versa / STRING vs WSTRING / string over a container) with
BadTypeMismatch instead of handing back a string object at Good; a
notification - raw bytes decoded as the DECLARED type - additionally refuses
width and float/integer mismatches (DINT over REAL reinterpreted the bits).
- A refused notification is isolated: that tag publishes BadTypeMismatch with
one WARN, keeps a dead intent for the probe-tick retry, and the rest of the
subscription registers.
A TC2 PLC reports top-level integer globals as INT16/UINT16 (354 symbols on
the Elma cleaner Z33856) and the Beckhoff type system keeps that spelling as
a built-in primitive, so MapSymbolTypeName returned null and discovery dropped
them silently. INT16/UINT16/INT32/UINT32/UINT8/FLOAT/DOUBLE now map like their
IEC twins; padded member names ("REAL ") are trimmed; a parenthesised
non-string form ("INT (VAR_IN_OUT)", a reference) stays unsupported.
A TC2 global is named with ONE leading dot (.OPC_HEARTBEAT) and the PLC
requires it (SYM_HNDBYNAME answers 0x710 without it). TryParse rejected the
dot, so the driver fell back to the raw string and lost bit-index parsing:
.X.WORD.3 went to ADS verbatim instead of reading .X.WORD and extracting bit 3.
The dot now stays on the root segment and round-trips through ToAdsSymbolName;
.., ., .[1] and .9x stay invalid.
#556 item 1 — leading whitespace defeated every Inspect's pre-filter. Seven
factories (Modbus/S7/AbCip/AbLegacy/TwinCAT/FOCAS/Mqtt) tested
`reference[0] != '{'`, so a padded blob returned EMPTY and a tag the driver
refuses deployed clean. The check now trims first, matching the idiom
Sql/Calculation/MTConnect/OpcUaClient already used. The raw reference is still
what is handed to the mapper — the driver reads the stored blob, not a trimmed
copy — so the gate keeps mirroring the runtime rather than becoming lenient.
Both directions are pinned: a padded blob the mapper accepts still draws
nothing, and one that is not object-framed AFTER trimming still draws nothing
(it is not an equipment-tag TagConfig at all).
Six of the seven mappers hand the blob to a whitespace-tolerant
JsonDocument.Parse, so their verdict is unchanged by padding. MQTT is the
exception: both its readers carry the same framing gate, so a padded blob is
genuinely refused — which is why the untrimmed pre-filter was a real defect
there and not a cosmetic mismatch.
#556 item 2 — FOCAS and MQTT appended advisories unconditionally and then gated
the catch-all rejection message on `warnings.Count == 0`, so an advisory (which
fires on ACCEPTED blobs too, and says nothing about a refusal) silently
swallowed the only message naming a refusal nothing else can. The two classes
now accumulate in SEPARATE lists and the backstop gates on the rejection count
alone — structural, not string matching. MQTT's swallow was reachable in
production (a padded blob its readers refuse while every describe branch finds
the parsed document well-formed); FOCAS's backstop is currently unreachable by
audit, so its guard is protective.
#557 item 2 — decided and pinned: KEEP the union verdict. Evidence:
FromSparkplugTagConfig hard-codes PayloadFormat=Json and never consults the key;
only MqttSubscriptionManager (the Plain ingest path) decodes by it; and
MqttTagConfigModel.ToJson deliberately omits the key entirely in Sparkplug mode
(#513). So a Sparkplug driver genuinely serves the tag and rejecting it would be
stricter than the runtime. The cost — served behaviour depends on the driver's
MqttMode, which no tag row records — is paid by an ADVISORY naming the key and
the mode dependency, not by changing the verdict, so both gates keep agreeing.
The same invalid value on a blob the union REFUSES stays a rejection; the class
is decided by the accept gate, never by the key.
Falsified: reverting Modbus's trim reddens the padded-rejection theory;
neutering MQTT's backstop guard to the pre-#556 shape reddens the
advisory-plus-unnameable-rejection test; disabling the #557 advisory reddens the
contract pin; and for FOCAS, removing a describe branch alone stays green (the
backstop covers it) while additionally neutering the guard goes red.
Gitea #551.
1. CSV import ran no driver-typed config gate. Its typed columns were always
strictly parsed, but the free-form TagConfigJson column reached the database
unread, so a CSV could author a tag the driver rejects — one that deploys
green and reads BadNodeIdUnknown forever. RawTagCsvMapper.Parse now names the
offending row in the staged review grid, and RawTreeService enforces the same
gate on CreateTag/UpdateTag/ImportTags: a form cannot be the guarantee (the
API and any future caller reach none of them, and this repo has no bUnit).
A rejected import row is an ERROR — the batch inserts nothing and the row is
named — never a skip.
Note the brief's premise that manual entry rides ImportTagsAsync is wrong:
RawManualTagEntryModal commits row-by-row via CreateTagAsync, which is why
the gate had to land on all three write paths.
2/3. The seven pre-#549 Inspect methods ran a hand-list of DescribeInvalidEnum
checks, so every rejection cause not on the list was invisible. They are now
ACCEPT-GATE-FIRST (the MTConnect/Sql/OpcUaClient/Calculation shape): ask the
driver's own reader for the verdict, then explain the refusal, with a
catch-all so "the parse rejects but Inspect said nothing" is unreachable.
That closes S7's absent dataType, AbCip members[], Modbus stringByteOrder and
the type-dependent guards, plus causes the issue did not name (absent
region/address/tagPath/symbolPath/topic, TwinCAT Structure, MQTT's Sparkplug
tuple). FOCAS and MQTT keep advisories about ACCEPTED blobs, so they
diagnose rather than return empty.
Authoring half: ModbusTagConfigModel gains stringByteOrder;
AbCipTagConfigModel asks the new AbCipTagDefinitionFactory.DescribeInvalidMember;
S7TagConfigModel captures whether the SOURCE blob declared dataType and asks
S7TagDefinitionFactory.DataTypeKey/DeclaresDataType. One authority per rule.
4. Doc sweep: the six factory Inspect summaries, EquipmentTagConfigInspector's
class remarks and AdminOperationsActor's comment all claimed invalid enums are
"silently defaulted by the lenient runtime" — false since R2-11 Phase C made
the runtime reads strict. They describe rejections now.
A browse-committed AB CIP / TwinCAT / FOCAS tag bound with its model's DEFAULT
data type, not the one the device reported. A browsed REAL committed as
`{"tagPath":"Pump_1_Speed","dataType":"DInt"}` — and those three drivers decode
the wire bytes by that field, not by the raw row's OPC UA DataType — so the tag
read four bytes of a float through an integer decoder and published a plausible
wrong number with no error raised anywhere. FOCAS was missed when #536 was filed.
The type is CARRIED, not derived. Reverse-mapping the leaf's driver-agnostic
DriverDataType looks like the smaller fix and is wrong: SInt/Int/DInt/USInt/UInt
all collapse into Int32 on the way out of the driver, so that version would bind
a 16-bit INT as a 32-bit DINT while appearing to fix the REAL. Drivers now state
their own type name on DriverAttributeInfo.NativeDataType, which reaches the
picker as AttributeInfo.AddressFields["dataType"] and the commit mapper from
there. A leaf that states nothing keeps the model default — the pre-#536
behaviour, kept deliberately as the fallback rather than a guess.
Numeric strings are refused before parsing: Enum.TryParse accepts "9" for any
enum and Enum.IsDefined then confirms it, so an unguarded parse would bind a tag
to a type nobody named. A test caught this in the first version of the guard.
--- and the other half, which the fixture was hiding ---
Test Connect on a device with NO authored tags — every AB CIP device at the
moment an operator first presses the button — reported "CIP handshake failed"
against a healthy controller. That was written down as a fixture limitation
("ab_server doesn't implement @raw_cpu_type"). Both halves of that were wrong:
* @raw_cpu_type is not a libplctag special tag at all (only @raw, @tags and
@udt/ are), so it goes out as an ordinary symbolic name that no controller
defines, and the controller's "tag does not exist" IS the successful answer.
* ab_server answered an unresolvable tag path with CIP 0x03 where a Logix
controller answers 0x04 — ErrorBadParam vs ErrorNotFound, which the probe
classifies oppositely. Fixed in vendored patch 0002.
* With the fixture then telling the truth, the real defect surfaced:
AbCipDriverProbe.IsReachableException matched the native C status spellings
("STATUS_NOT_FOUND"), but libplctag.NET throws with the MANAGED enum name
("ErrorNotFound"). Those substrings can never match, so the reachable
classification could not fire on the exception path — which is the path every
no-authored-tags probe takes. This was failing on real hardware too, not just
against the sim. It now recovers the Status and defers to IsReachableStatus,
so there is one classification rather than two that can drift.
Rejected: switching the fallback to @tags. libplctag builds a tag-listing tag
with NO network I/O, so it reports OK against any TCP listener — measured green
against a Mosquitto broker.
Verification: full solution suite green. Falsification runs confirm exactly the
intended tests go red — 9 for the type carry, 3 (the reachable statuses only) for
the probe classification. Live on docker-dev: browse-committed TestString/
Motor_Run/TestSINT now store String/Bool/SInt, alongside last session's
Pump_1_Speed still holding the wrong DInt. TestSINT is the falsifier — its row
DataType is Int32, identical to TestDINT's, so no reverse map could have produced
"SInt".
Known consequence: pre-existing browse-committed tags keep their wrong dataType;
the fix applies to new commits only.

Task 3/4/5: SupportsOnlineDiscovery => true on AbCipDriver, TwinCATDriver, FocasDriver
(their device enumeration is real, config-gated on EnableControllerBrowse / FixedTree.Enabled
which PatchForBrowse guarantees at open). One gate fact per driver test project.
R2-11 Phase C. All six equipment-tag parsers (Modbus/S7/AbCip/AbLegacy/
TwinCAT/Focas) now read enum fields via the new TagConfigJson.TryReadEnumStrict:
absent -> fallback, valid -> parsed, present-but-invalid (typo) -> TryParse
returns false -> EquipmentTagRefResolver.TryResolve false -> driver surfaces
BadNodeIdUnknown, instead of the old lenient path that silently defaulted a
typo to a wrong-width Good.
Modbus flips all three enum fields (region/dataType/byteOrder); the other five
flip dataType. The deploy-time Deployment:TagConfigValidationMode=Error gate is
unchanged and remains the operator pre-flight.
Coverage:
- Six *EquipmentTagParserStrictnessTests inverted from Freeze_typo_* (lenient)
to Typo_*_rejects_the_tag + Valid_*_still_parses.
- TagConfigJsonTests.TryReadEnumStrict_rejects_only_invalid matrix.
- Driver-level end-to-end proof:
AbCipEquipmentTagTests.Driver_read_of_a_typod_dataType_ref_surfaces_BadNodeIdUnknown
drives the real AbCipDriver.ReadAsync through resolve->status.
Golden parity corpus has no typo'd enums, so the flip is a no-op there.
Full solution builds clean; all six driver suites + core + parity + gate green.
Native ADS notifications (the default subscribe mode) were stored as opaque handles
with no record of the symbol/type/interval/handler needed to replay. On a client swap
(EnsureConnectedAsync building a fresh client after a drop) the notifications were
silently orphaned — no Bad status, no error, pushes just stopped until redeploy.
Compounding: the IsConnected fast-path keys on AMS-port state, not wire liveness, and
a probe failure only transitioned state without recycling the dead client.
Fix:
- Store REPLAYABLE INTENT: NativeRegistration (symbol/type/bit/interval/onChange +
swappable live handle) hung off DeviceState.NativeRegistrations, populated by
SubscribeAsync via RegisterNotificationAsync (under ConnectGate).
- Split EnsureConnectedAsync into a gate wrapper + EnsureConnectedUnderGateAsync core;
when the core installs a NEW client it replays every stored intent onto it and swaps
the live handle (disposing the dead one). Register + replay both run under ConnectGate
so they can't race.
- Probe loop: on a wire-probe failure (false or throw) RecycleClientAsync disposes+nulls
the client so the next tick rebuilds + replays — closes the fast-path-keys-on-port-state
compounding bug.
No TwinCAT docker fixture exists (integration needs a real TC3 XAR), so the fake-client
unit tests are the authoritative coverage:
- 4 new guards in TwinCATReconnectReplayTests (replay-onto-fresh-client + push reaches
OnDataChange + old handle disposed; replay-all-tags; unsubscribe-after-reconnect stops
replaying; probe-failure recycles+rebuilds).
- Full TwinCAT unit suite 174/174 green; full solution builds 0 errors.
Re-review at 7286d320. -017 (Medium): TwinCATTagDto lacked ArrayLength, so JSON-authored
pre-declared array tags were silently scalar (Phase-4c array path dead for them). Fix:
add ArrayLength to the DTO + thread through BuildTag with positive-value guard + TDD.
- ITwinCATClient.BrowseSymbolsAsync XML doc updated: states the implementation now
expands struct/UDT/FB symbols into atomic member leaves via TwinCATSymbolExpander;
callers receive only atomic/array leaves with full InstancePaths, never struct containers.
- AdsSymbolNode: cache IsStruct, Mapped, Children, ReadOnly as readonly fields computed
once in the ctor so repeated property access during recursive expansion doesn't
re-materialize or re-invoke MapSymbolType/IsSymbolWritable.
- BrowseSymbolsAsync: add operator-gated live risk note next to SymbolsLoadMode.Flat
warning that a real TC3 target may not populate SubSymbols in Flat mode, with
guidance to switch to VirtualTree if members don't surface — do not change mode now.
- TwinCATSymbolExpanderTests: simplify confusing `new string('.', 0)` no-op to `""`.
All five suppressed advisories are now resolved at baseline/resolved versions,
so every NuGetAuditSuppress is removed repo-wide:
- System.Security.Cryptography.Xml (GHSA-37gx-xxp4-5rgx / GHSA-w3x6-4m5h-cxqf)
-> fixed by the .NET 10 baseline (10.0.6)
- OPCFoundation Opc.Ua.Core (GHSA-h958-fxgg-g7w3) -> fixed at resolved 1.5.378.106
Two were still live and are now patched via direct security pins:
- OpenTelemetry.Api 1.9.0 -> 1.15.3 (GHSA-g94r-2vxg-569j) pinned in Cluster;
Runtime/ControlPlane/AdminUI + tests inherit via project reference
- Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.20.0 -> 0.21.3 (GHSA-xrw6-gwf8-vvr9) pinned in Client.UI
Also correct the Historian sidecar runtime comments (x86 -> x64, matching the
csproj PlatformTarget). Solution audit: 0 vulnerable packages; full build clean.
Adds <summary>, <param>, <typeparam>, and <inheritdoc/> tags to public
members surfaced by commentchecker — resolves 5,847 of 5,869 issues
(99.6%) across three /fixdocs passes.
Adds Directory.Packages.props (ManagePackageVersionsCentrally) and
Directory.Build.props (net10.0/nullable/implicit usings/LangVersion latest).
Strips Version attributes from every csproj PackageReference and consolidates
versions into the central file.
Side fixes (necessary to keep the build green on .NET SDK 10.0.105 on macOS):
- Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.CSharp{,.Workspaces}: 5.3.0 -> 5.0.0. The 5.3.0
analyzer DLL references compiler 5.3.0.0 and the local SDK ships compiler
5.0.0.0, producing CS9057 on every project that loaded the Analyzers
output. Master itself was broken on this machine pre-change.
- Server + Server.Tests pin OPCFoundation.NetStandard.Opc.Ua.{Configuration,
Client} to 1.5.374.126 via VersionOverride, matching Opc.Ua.Server's
pin. Mixing 1.5.378.106 Opc.Ua.Core transitively with 1.5.374.126
Opc.Ua.Server breaks CustomNodeManager2 override signatures
(CS0115 on LoadPredefinedNodes/Browse/HistoryRead*) and CS7069 in
the tests. The pin disappears when the legacy Server project is
deleted in Task 56.
- Client.UI + Client.UI.Tests: NuGetAuditSuppress for
GHSA-xrw6-gwf8-vvr9 (Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.20.0 reaches both projects
transitively from Avalonia.Desktop on Linux/macOS only).
Deviation from the plan: TreatWarningsAsErrors=true is NOT set in
Directory.Build.props because the pre-v2 Admin/Server test projects carry
~240 xUnit1051 analyzer warnings that would fail the build. New v2 projects
opt in via their own csproj; the global flag can return once the legacy
projects are deleted in Task 56.
- Driver.TwinCAT-004: corrected the IEC time-type inline comments;
documented that the driver currently surfaces them as raw UInt32
counters.
- Driver.TwinCAT-006: ResolveHost returns a documented UnresolvedHost
sentinel when no devices are configured instead of returning the
logical DriverInstanceId (which never matches GetHostStatuses).
- Driver.TwinCAT-014: wired Probe.Timeout into the probe-loop call and
added a NotificationMaxDelayMs config knob threaded through
AddNotificationAsync.
- Driver.TwinCAT-015: Dispose() runs a genuinely synchronous teardown
with bounded waits (no sync-over-async deadlock pattern).
- Driver.TwinCAT-016: pinned the Structure-tag rejection and the
probe-loop vs read disposal race with regression tests.

The Driver.TwinCAT-011 fix rewrote TwinCATStatusMapper with correct
numeric values from Beckhoff.TwinCAT.Ads 7.0.172 (e.g. DeviceSymbol-
VersionInvalid = 1809 / 0x0711, not 1794 / 0x0702). Pre-existing
StatusMapper_covers_known_ads_error_codes InlineData cases were written
against the old wrong mappings and now fail; StatusMapper_recognises_
symbol_version_changed_code asserted the legacy 0x0702 constant. Update
both test files to match the corrected mapper and add a comment
documenting the correction.

Driver.TwinCAT-001 — InitializeAsync/ReinitializeAsync ignored driverConfigJson.
Extracted the DTO-to-options parse into a shared TwinCATDriverFactoryExtensions.ParseOptions;
InitializeAsync now re-parses driverConfigJson into a mutable _options field, so a config
generation pushed via ReinitializeAsync (added/removed devices, tags, probe settings) is
actually applied at runtime.
Driver.TwinCAT-002 — LInt/ULInt narrowed to Int32. ToDriverDataType now maps LInt to Int64,
ULInt to UInt64, UDInt to UInt32, UInt/USInt to UInt16, Int/SInt to Int16, and the IEC
TIME/DATE/DT/TOD types to UInt32 (their raw UDINT counter). Removed the stale "Int64 gap"
comment — no truncation or sign flips at the OPC UA encode layer.
Driver.TwinCAT-007 — EnsureConnectedAsync was not thread-safe. Connect/reconnect is now
serialized per device by a SemaphoreSlim (DeviceState.ConnectGate) with a double-checked
connect, mirroring the S7 driver. Concurrent read/write/probe callers can no longer leak a
client or race a create-vs-dispose.
Driver.TwinCAT-008 — native ADS notification callbacks ran driver logic on the AMS router
thread. AdsTwinCATClient now enqueues AdsNotificationEx callbacks onto a bounded Channel
drained by a dedicated managed task; the router-thread callback only does a non-blocking
TryWrite, so a slow consumer cannot stall ADS notification delivery process-wide.
Driver.TwinCAT-013 — TwinCATDriver did not implement IRediscoverable. The driver now
implements IRediscoverable; AdsTwinCATClient detects ADS 0x0702 (symbol-version-changed) on
read/write paths and raises OnSymbolVersionChanged, which the driver forwards as
OnRediscoveryNeeded so Core rebuilds the address space after a PLC program re-download.
Adds TwinCATHighFindingsRegressionTests covering all five fixes; updates the data-type
mapping assertion in TwinCATDriverTests. TwinCAT driver builds clean; 119 tests pass.

Group all 69 projects into category subfolders under src/ and tests/ so the
Rider Solution Explorer mirrors the module structure. Folders: Core, Server,
Drivers (with a nested Driver CLIs subfolder), Client, Tooling.
- Move every project folder on disk with git mv (history preserved as renames).
- Recompute relative paths in 57 .csproj files: cross-category ProjectReferences,
the lib/ HintPath+None refs in Driver.Historian.Wonderware, and the external
mxaccessgw refs in Driver.Galaxy and its test project.
- Rebuild ZB.MOM.WW.OtOpcUa.slnx with nested solution folders.
- Re-prefix project paths in functional scripts (e2e, compliance, smoke SQL,
integration, install).
Build green (0 errors); unit tests pass. Docs left for a separate pass.
