Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Flat-mode struct expansion never checked against a real TC3 target (may silently drop struct members on some firmware); VirtualTree is an unverified fallback; discovered struct/FB member writes deferred.

Filed 2026-10-08 by the pending/deferred-work sweep after the #562–#591 issue sweep.
Backlog doc refreshed with the hardware facts (22 Elmas TC2/801, Z35474 TC3/851, stale routes). Still open, all hardware-gated: the TC3 Flat-vs-VirtualTree browse comparison (needs the route above), member writes and coalescing under a saturated cycle (not on production presses — read-only policy).
Hardware validation (master
ec375538), Z35474 (TC3), read-only:Closing: TC3 symbol browse validated on Z35474 (Flat mode, 10,770 leaves — see previous comment). Member writes were not exercised: the only available TC3 hardware is a production press (read-only). Reopen or file fresh when a non-production TwinCAT target is available.
