Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The S7 counter docs previously inferred C-area wire encoding from CPU family and presented synthetic raw4711/31337 values as current counts and hardware-ready evidence. State the actual raw big-endian decoder contract, distinguish DB/IEC reads, and document the independent PLC/raw-response/model evidence still needed under #616. Qualify the current S71500 fixture’s limits.
Validation: independent review clear; exact non-comment C# text identity; XML documentation parses; diff whitespace check passed. Decoder/config/transport/assertions/skip strings unchanged. No build, test run or live call was needed for this comments/docs-only correction. #616 remains open.
Resolves #713.
