Every value verified against Opc.Ua.StatusCodes in the pinned SDK (1.5.378.106) by
reflection, not by copying siblings. All are client-visible: OPC UA clients branch on
status.
The three named in #497:
- Historian.Gateway SampleMapper "BadNoData" 0x800E0000 -> 0x809B0000
(0x800E0000 is BadServerHalted)
- Galaxy "BadTimeout" 0x800B0000 -> 0x800A0000
(0x800B0000 is BadServiceUnsupported)
- TwinCAT BadTypeMismatch 0x80730000 -> 0x80740000
(0x80730000 is BadWriteNotSupported)
BadTypeMismatch was wrong in three MORE drivers the issue did not name — FOCAS,
AbLegacy and AbCip carried the same 0x80730000. Every call site is a
FormatException/InvalidCastException conversion failure, so the name was right and
the value was wrong in all four.
Adding the reflection guard then surfaced nine further defects offline tests had
never checked:
- Galaxy GoodLocalOverride 0x00D80000 -> 0x00960000 (not a UA code at all)
- Galaxy UncertainLastUsableValue 0x40A40000 -> 0x40900000
- Galaxy UncertainSensorNotAccurate 0x408D0000 -> 0x40930000

- TwinCAT BadOutOfService 0x80BE0000 -> 0x808D0000 (was BadProtocolVersionUnsupported)
- TwinCAT BadInvalidState 0x80350000 -> 0x80AF0000 (was BadAttributeIdInvalid)
- AbCip/AbLegacy GoodMoreData 0x00A70000 -> 0x00A60000 (was GoodCommunicationEvent)
- Historian.Gateway GatewayQualityMapper Good_LocalOverride 0x00D80000 -> 0x00960000
Galaxy's whole Uncertain block read as though the OPC DA quality byte could be
shifted into the UA substatus position; it cannot — the substatuses are an unrelated
enumeration. GatewayQualityMapper already held the correct table, which is what the
Galaxy values are now reconciled against.
Guard: StatusCodeParityTests (Core.Abstractions.Tests, which already project-
references every driver) reflects over every `const uint` in the deployed
ZB.MOM.WW.OtOpcUa.Driver.*.dll whose name reads as a status code, and asserts it
equals Opc.Ua.StatusCodes.<name>. Discovery is by convention, so a new driver
assembly referenced by that project is covered with no edit here. It went red on all
nine defects above before the fixes and now checks 109 constants green.
Because reflection can only see a NAMED constant, two inline literals were hoisted so
the guard can reach them: Galaxy's BadTimeout/Bad into StatusCodeMap, and
GatewayQualityMapper's 15-entry table into a new HistorianStatusCodes. An inline
`0x800B0000u, // BadTimeout` at a call site is exactly how the Galaxy defect survived.
The drivers stay SDK-free by design; only the test project references Opc.Ua.Core,
as the oracle.
Also corrected: tests that pinned the wrong values (Galaxy StatusCodeMapTests,
SampleMapperTests, GatewayQualityMapperTests — all written from the same bad source),
a mislabelled comment in DriverInstanceActorTests, and stale constants in two design
docs, one of them the unexecuted MTConnect driver design that would have propagated
BadNoData's wrong value into a new driver.
The CLI's SnapshotFormatter value->name table was checked against the SDK and is
correct; no change needed.
Add DriverTypeNames.Sql (+ All) as the shared source of truth, and wire the driver
into the Host: register the factory in DriverFactoryBootstrap.Register via
Driver.Sql.SqlDriverFactoryExtensions.Register(registry, loggerFactory), add the
SqlProbe (= Driver.Sql.SqlDriverProbe) probe via TryAddEnumerable, and add the
Driver.Sql project reference to the Host. Default tier A (SQL client is managed +
cross-platform, so ShouldStub needs no change).
Repoint the interim SqlDriver.DriverTypeName / SqlDriverFactoryExtensions.DriverTypeName
literals at DriverTypeNames.Sql; both still resolve to "Sql", so the AdminUI
TagConfigEditorMap/TagConfigValidator keys and the DriverTypeName-parity test stay
green. The Core guard test discovers factories from its own bin, so it also gains a
Driver.Sql project reference — that is the "registered-factory side" that lets
DriverTypeNamesGuardTests' bidirectional-parity check pass (4/4 green).

Two independent housekeeping defects.
DriverTypeNamesGuardTests (3 failures, pre-existing). The guard discovers each
driver's *DriverFactoryExtensions.Register by reflection and invokes it, then
asserts the registered type-name set matches the DriverTypeNames constants. It
built the argument array positionally — registry first, null for everything after
— on the assumption that the remaining parameters were optional. Galaxy's are
not: its Register takes a REQUIRED ISecretResolver and guards it with
ArgumentNullException.ThrowIfNull, so the reflective call threw and all three
parity facts failed. OpcUaClient's equivalent parameter is optional, which is why
only Galaxy tripped it.
Worth stating plainly: the guard was not partially broken, it was completely
inert. The throw happened while building the registered set, so NO driver's
parity was ever checked — a genuine drift in any of the nine would have been
invisible behind the same three red tests. Arguments are now supplied by
parameter type, and a parameter the helper cannot satisfy fails with a message
naming the factory and the parameter instead of an opaque ArgumentNullException.
The stand-in resolver reports every secret absent, so if the "factory func is
never invoked" assumption is ever broken, the driver fails closed.
Core.Abstractions.Tests: 138 passed, 0 failed.
MSBuild node reuse. MSBuild leaves worker nodes resident between builds so the
next one starts warm; across this session's repeated solution builds and test
runs that reached 55 idle processes holding ~6 GB. That is not just untidy — the
integration suites assert on timeouts, so memory pressure produces failures
indistinguishable from real regressions, the same failure mode the Workstation-GC
fix addressed from a different direction.
Directory.Build.rsp now passes -nodeReuse:false. Measured on the same incremental
solution build: 15 residual nodes without it, 2 with, and elapsed time 6.12s vs
6.11s — no cost worth the memory on this machine.

Adds the Calculation pseudo-driver (tags computed by C# scripts over other tags' live
values) plus the host seam that feeds it:
- IDependencyConsumer capability interface (Core.Abstractions) + DriverTypeNames.Calculation.
- CalculationDriver : IDriver, ISubscribable, IReadable, IDependencyConsumer — change-gate +
dedupe (VirtualTagActor parity), timer-group scheduler, Bad-transition + script-log emission,
Good recovery; reuses the T0-4 CalculationEvaluator.
- DriverHostActor spawns a DependencyConsumerMuxAdapter per dependency-consuming driver,
registering its refs on the per-node DependencyMuxActor and forwarding DependencyValueChanged
→ OnDependencyValue; re-registers on every apply, torn down with the driver.
- Factory + probe registered in DriverFactoryBootstrap (keeps the T0-3 guard green); guard test
csproj references the driver so the bin-scan discovers the factory.
- DeploymentArtifact injects the resolved scriptSource (scriptId → SourceCode) into a calc tag's
delivered TagConfig so the host-blind driver can compile it.
- DraftValidator deploy gates: CalculationScriptMissing / CalculationScriptNotFound (scriptId
existence) + CalculationDependencyCycle (DependencyGraph.DetectCycles over calc→calc edges).
- Tests: driver units (dep-ref extraction, change-gate, dedupe, Bad+script-log+recovery, timer,
read), tag-config parsing, DraftValidator gates (self/2-cycle/cross-driver-terminal), and a
Runtime integration test proving values FLOW mux → adapter → driver → calc-of-calc end-to-end.

Wave-0 reviewer findings (no Critical/High):
- T0-1 M: ContextMenuItem.OnClick Action→Func<Task> (kills async-void at menu call sites Wave A/B/C need); keyboard-activated ⋯ now anchors below the button instead of viewport (0,0); focus returns to trigger on close; backdrop closes on native right-click too.
- T0-3 M: guard test now discovers *DriverFactoryExtensions.Register by convention from the deployed driver assemblies instead of a hand-copied list, so a future driver lacking a constant is actually caught.
- T0-2 L: corrected the round-trip 'sole non-round-trippable shape' comment (any table whose final row is a lone empty field).

Add DriverTypeNames as the single source of truth for driver-type
dispatch strings, one const per currently-registered driver factory
(value = the exact factory DriverTypeName). Fixes the latent drift
between hand-authored dispatch-map literals and the real factory names
(e.g. TwinCAT/FOCAS/GalaxyMxGateway) at the source.
A reflection guard test in Core.Abstractions.Tests builds the real
registered-factory set by driving each *DriverFactoryExtensions.Register
into a live DriverFactoryRegistry (mirroring the Host's
DriverFactoryBootstrap) and asserts bidirectional parity with the
constants, so any future rename on either side breaks the test gate.
Consumers are rewired in Batch 2 WP8; Calculation's const lands with its
factory in WP7.

Fix TESTS only (production already green) so the four in-scope test projects
compile + pass under the v3 dark address space:
- Core.Abstractions.Tests: drop AllowedNamespaceKinds/NamespaceKindCompatibility
from DriverTypeMetadata; rewrite EquipmentTagRefResolver tests to the single-func
RawPath-lookup contract (no parseRef/transient cache).
- Core.Tests: rewrite EquipmentNodeWalkerTests to EquipmentNamespaceContent(Areas,
Lines,Equipment,VirtualTags?,ScriptedAlarms?) — folders + VirtualTags +
ScriptedAlarms only; raw-tag variables dark (skipped Batch-4 placeholder). Drop
retired Equipment.DriverInstanceId.
- Runtime.Tests: rewrite golden corpus + TagConfigCorpusParityTests to the v3
RawPath/RawTagEntry round-trip (byte + TagConfigIntent parity; EquipmentTags dark).
Salvage VirtualTag + ScriptedAlarm artifact parity to the new Compose signature.
Retire the equipment-tag-materialization parity files (Array/Historize/Alias) and
the equipment-device-binding DeviceHost parity to documented skipped placeholders.
Skip 34 dark equipment-tag routing/value/alarm/write/discovery actor tests with a
shared DarkAddressSpaceReasons constant. Re-key cluster-scoped tests to v3 UNS
line->area attribution.
- ControlPlane.Tests: ConfigComposer round-trips re-keyed to RawFolder/Device (no
Namespaces); tag-config gate resolves driver via Device; deploy-gate collision test
re-keyed to UnsEffectiveNameCollision; drop retired BadCrossClusterNamespaceBinding
case.
Task 1: ITagDiscovery.SupportsOnlineDiscovery default member (=> false)
Task 2: Commons -> Core.Abstractions ProjectReference
Task 13: TagModal BuildEditorParameters passes DriverType + GetDriverConfigJson;
all 7 typed tag editors declare the two new [Parameter]s (DynamicComponent
throws on unmatched params, so every editor must accept them).
R2-11 Phase C. All six equipment-tag parsers (Modbus/S7/AbCip/AbLegacy/
TwinCAT/Focas) now read enum fields via the new TagConfigJson.TryReadEnumStrict:
absent -> fallback, valid -> parsed, present-but-invalid (typo) -> TryParse
returns false -> EquipmentTagRefResolver.TryResolve false -> driver surfaces
BadNodeIdUnknown, instead of the old lenient path that silently defaulted a
typo to a wrong-width Good.
Modbus flips all three enum fields (region/dataType/byteOrder); the other five
flip dataType. The deploy-time Deployment:TagConfigValidationMode=Error gate is
unchanged and remains the operator pre-flight.
Coverage:
- Six *EquipmentTagParserStrictnessTests inverted from Freeze_typo_* (lenient)
to Typo_*_rejects_the_tag + Valid_*_still_parses.
- TagConfigJsonTests.TryReadEnumStrict_rejects_only_invalid matrix.
- Driver-level end-to-end proof:
AbCipEquipmentTagTests.Driver_read_of_a_typod_dataType_ref_surfaces_BadNodeIdUnknown
drives the real AbCipDriver.ReadAsync through resolve->status.
Golden parity corpus has no typo'd enums, so the flip is a no-op there.
Full solution builds clean; all six driver suites + core + parity + gate green.
Re-review at 7286d320. Core.Abstractions-009: ReadEventsAsync maxEvents<=0 sentinel now
documents the implementer's continuation-point obligation when a backend cap truncates
(the root of OpcUaServer-002). -010: PollGroupEngineTests pass CancellationToken. Plus
EquipmentTagRefResolver.TryResolve [MaybeNullWhen(false)] NRT cleanup + test.
Adds <summary>, <param>, <typeparam>, and <inheritdoc/> tags to public
members surfaced by commentchecker — resolves 5,847 of 5,869 issues
(99.6%) across three /fixdocs passes.
Adds Directory.Packages.props (ManagePackageVersionsCentrally) and
Directory.Build.props (net10.0/nullable/implicit usings/LangVersion latest).
Strips Version attributes from every csproj PackageReference and consolidates
versions into the central file.
Side fixes (necessary to keep the build green on .NET SDK 10.0.105 on macOS):
- Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.CSharp{,.Workspaces}: 5.3.0 -> 5.0.0. The 5.3.0
analyzer DLL references compiler 5.3.0.0 and the local SDK ships compiler
5.0.0.0, producing CS9057 on every project that loaded the Analyzers
output. Master itself was broken on this machine pre-change.
- Server + Server.Tests pin OPCFoundation.NetStandard.Opc.Ua.{Configuration,
Client} to 1.5.374.126 via VersionOverride, matching Opc.Ua.Server's
pin. Mixing 1.5.378.106 Opc.Ua.Core transitively with 1.5.374.126
Opc.Ua.Server breaks CustomNodeManager2 override signatures
(CS0115 on LoadPredefinedNodes/Browse/HistoryRead*) and CS7069 in
the tests. The pin disappears when the legacy Server project is
deleted in Task 56.
- Client.UI + Client.UI.Tests: NuGetAuditSuppress for
GHSA-xrw6-gwf8-vvr9 (Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.20.0 reaches both projects
transitively from Avalonia.Desktop on Linux/macOS only).
Deviation from the plan: TreatWarningsAsErrors=true is NOT set in
Directory.Build.props because the pre-v2 Admin/Server test projects carry
~240 xUnit1051 analyzer warnings that would fail the build. New v2 projects
opt in via their own csproj; the global flag can return once the legacy
projects are deleted in Task 56.
- Core.Abstractions-004: guard DriverTypeRegistry.Register with a Lock so
concurrent registrations are atomic.
- Core.Abstractions-005: narrow PollGroupEngine catch blocks to non-fatal
exceptions, add optional onError callback, tolerate disposed-CTS races.
- Core.Abstractions-006: document the deliberate int-vs-uint asymmetry on
IHistoryProvider.ReadEventsAsync / IHistorianDataSource.ReadEventsAsync.
- Core.Abstractions-007: pin the gaps with PollGroupEngine + DriverHealth
contract tests.
- Core.Abstractions-008: correct XML docs on DriverHealth.LastError and
the optional / required asymmetry on the history-read surfaces.

Core.Abstractions-001: PollGroupEngine compares array values with structural
equality so a driver returning a fresh T[] each poll no longer fires spuriously.
Core.Abstractions-002: PollOnceAsync guards reader result cardinality and
throws a descriptive InvalidOperationException on mismatch instead of a
swallowed ArgumentOutOfRangeException that stalled the subscription.
Core.Abstractions-003: the poll loop Task is tracked; Unsubscribe/DisposeAsync
await loop completion before disposing the CTS.

Group all 69 projects into category subfolders under src/ and tests/ so the
Rider Solution Explorer mirrors the module structure. Folders: Core, Server,
Drivers (with a nested Driver CLIs subfolder), Client, Tooling.
- Move every project folder on disk with git mv (history preserved as renames).
- Recompute relative paths in 57 .csproj files: cross-category ProjectReferences,
the lib/ HintPath+None refs in Driver.Historian.Wonderware, and the external
mxaccessgw refs in Driver.Galaxy and its test project.
- Rebuild ZB.MOM.WW.OtOpcUa.slnx with nested solution folders.
- Re-prefix project paths in functional scripts (e2e, compliance, smoke SQL,
integration, install).
Build green (0 errors); unit tests pass. Docs left for a separate pass.
