Joseph Doherty a5a0f96d49 fix(drivers): harden operator TimeoutMs handling + AbLegacy evict parity
v2-ci / build (pull_request) Successful in 4m5s
v2-ci / unit-tests (pull_request) Failing after 10m45s
Follow-ups from the fleet-wide read-timeout audit that the S7 R2-01 read-leg
fix (PR #453) prompted. The audit confirmed S7 was the ONLY driver with the
async-read-ignores-socket-timeout hang; these are the two adjacent (non-hang)
findings it surfaced.

1. FOCAS TimeoutMs:0 footgun (the risky one): a non-positive Timeout made
SynchronizedFocasClient DISABLE its per-call wall-clock ceiling, reverting to
the caller's long-lived poll token — reintroducing exactly the frozen-peer
wedge S7 just eliminated, under misconfig. Clamp non-positive TimeoutMs to the
2s default at the config boundary so the deadline can never be authored away.

2. TimeoutMs validation symmetry: apply the same clamp in the AbCip + AbLegacy
factories. libplctag's Tag.Timeout setter throws on <=0, faulting tag creation
on every read/write; clamping keeps a misconfigured TimeoutMs:0 running on the
default bound instead. (Shared PositiveTimeoutOrDefault helper per factory.)

3. AbLegacy reconnect parity with AbCip: AbLegacy evicted the cached libplctag
runtime on neither the non-zero-status nor transport-exception read/write path
(AbCip evicts on both), so a data-path fault recovered only via the probe loop
/ libplctag internals. Added EvictRuntime + wired it into both read and write
failure paths so a fresh handle is created on the next call.

Tests: FOCAS 265->269 (clamp theory + positive), AbCip 336->339 (clamp theory +
positive), AbLegacy 209->212 (read-nonzero / read-exception / write-nonzero evict).
No production regressions; all three driver suites green.

Joseph Doherty f0082af5b9 build(analyzers): wire OTOPCUA0001 tree-wide + triage the surfaced hits (arch-review 07/C-1)
Inject the custom UnwrappedCapabilityCallAnalyzer as an OutputItemType=Analyzer
ProjectReference from Directory.Build.props (excluding the analyzer + its test
project) so OTOPCUA0001 runs on every src/ and tests/ compilation — it previously
enforced its CapabilityInvoker-wrapping rule against nothing but its own 31 unit
tests (the 'built-but-never-wired' failure mode).

Triage of the ~280 surfaced hits, three categories:

1. RESILIENCE-DISPATCH-GAP (7 sites, DriverInstanceActor x6 + GenericDriverNodeManager
x1): a REAL, previously-untracked gap the analyzer caught on first wiring — the
Phase 6.1 CapabilityInvoker resilience pipeline (retry/breaker/bulkhead/telemetry)
is constructed ONLY in tests and was never wired into the production dispatch
   layer. Scoped per-site #pragma with a greppable RESILIENCE-DISPATCH-GAP marker
explicitly noting these are tracked-but-not-intentional, pending the dispatch-wiring
remediation (filed as a follow-up). Keeps the analyzer live everywhere else in
those projects so a NEW unwrapped call still fails the build.

2. Driver-INTERNAL self-calls (3 sites, AbCipAlarmProjection x2 + S7Driver x1):
a driver's own poll/ack path calling its own capability method. The invoker wraps
the driver from the dispatch layer OUTWARD; a driver re-wrapping its own internal
calls would double-wrap. Genuinely intentional — scoped #pragma with that rationale.

3. Wire-level test suites + manual-testing CLIs (12 projects): invoke drivers directly
by design — the analyzer's own documented intentional case. Project-level NoWarn
   with a comment.

Verified: full solution build green, 0 OTOPCUA0001 hits; analyzer's 31 tests pass;
negative control — dropping one dispatch-gap pragma re-fires OTOPCUA0001 and fails
the Runtime build, proving the analyzer is genuinely live tree-wide, not disabled.

Joseph Doherty 3e789dcafc review(Driver.AbCip): thread ElementCount/IsArray through factory tag DTOs
Cross-module fix from the review sweep. -018 (Medium): AbCipTagDto/AbCipMemberDto dropped
elementCount/isArray, so driver-config-authored array tags read as a single scalar. Added the
two optional JSON fields (additive; missing -> scalar as before) threaded into the tag def +
TDD.

Joseph Doherty a914b73d57 review(Driver.AbCip): fix declared UDT array members read as scalar (Medium)
Re-review at 7286d320. AbCip-016 (Medium): two cooperating defects made a declared array
member (e.g. REAL[4]) read one scalar/null — fan-out dropped ElementCount/IsArray, and
UdtMemberLayout.TryBuild ignored array members (mis-placing later members). Fix: thread
array shape through fan-out + opt whole-UDT grouping out when any member is an array + TDD.
AbCip-017 (severity-read StatusCode, Low) deferred.

Joseph Doherty 0c08b152c2 feat(probe): AbCip Test-Connect opens a real CIP session (libplctag init)
Replace the bare-TCP-only AbCipDriverProbe with a two-phase check:
Phase 1 keeps the existing TCP preflight; Phase 2 initialises a
LibplctagTagRuntime against the first device to open a real EIP session
and CIP Forward Open, so a live-but-rejecting CIP endpoint reads red
instead of a false-positive green.

Status mapping: ErrorNotFound / ErrorNoMatch / ErrorBadDevice → reachable
(controller answered CIP, probe tag absent); ErrorTimeout / ErrorBadConnection
/ ErrorBadGateway / ErrorWinsock / ErrorOpen / ErrorClose / ErrorRead /
ErrorWrite / ErrorBadReply / ErrorRemoteErr / ErrorPartial / ErrorAbort →
handshake failed. LibPlcTagException message text is used as a secondary
signal for the reachable-exception path. All other statuses default to
handshake-failed (conservative).

Add AbCipDriverProbeTests: invalid JSON, no devices, malformed host address,
closed-port TCP rejection, and black-hole timeout — all offline-determinable.
Happy path + CIP-error path covered live against the CIP sim.

Joseph Doherty 6ba59f9d4d fix(abcip, focas): collapse alarm projection to a single poll loop (no reconnect leak)
The owning DriverInstanceActor re-subscribes alarms on every Connected
entry (DetachAlarmSource nulls its cached handle on Connected->Reconnecting
without calling UnsubscribeAlarmsAsync), and the driver object + its alarm
projection are reused across every in-place reconnect. Each SubscribeAsync
started a fresh, never-cancelled Task.Run poll loop and added it to _subs,
so N reconnects leaked N concurrent loops all polling the device and all
firing the same raise/clear transitions => duplicate alarm events + CPU/mem
growth.

Mirrors the Galaxy #399 fix (Clear-before-Add) but for live poll loops the
collapse must also CANCEL the superseded loops, not just drop references.
SubscribeAsync now snapshots existing subs under _subsLock, clears _subs,
adds the new sub, starts its loop, then retires each stale sub out-of-band
(RetireAsync: Cancel + await loop + Dispose CTS, fire-and-forget so the new
subscription's return isn't blocked on a poll interval). Snapshot+clear under
the same lock DisposeAsync uses guarantees no double-own / double-dispose.

There is exactly one consumer per driver instance (factory-per-actor), so
retiring all prior subscriptions before starting the new one is faithful.

Regression tests (TDD, fail->pass): subscribe twice then drive one device
raise; assert OnAlarmEvent fires exactly once (was twice with two leaked
loops).

Joseph Doherty 57355405a6 chore(security): drop dead audit suppressions; patch OpenTelemetry + Tmds.DBus CVEs
All five suppressed advisories are now resolved at baseline/resolved versions,
so every NuGetAuditSuppress is removed repo-wide:
- System.Security.Cryptography.Xml (GHSA-37gx-xxp4-5rgx / GHSA-w3x6-4m5h-cxqf)
-> fixed by the .NET 10 baseline (10.0.6)
- OPCFoundation Opc.Ua.Core (GHSA-h958-fxgg-g7w3) -> fixed at resolved 1.5.378.106

Two were still live and are now patched via direct security pins:
- OpenTelemetry.Api 1.9.0 -> 1.15.3 (GHSA-g94r-2vxg-569j) pinned in Cluster;
Runtime/ControlPlane/AdminUI + tests inherit via project reference
- Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.20.0 -> 0.21.3 (GHSA-xrw6-gwf8-vvr9) pinned in Client.UI

Also correct the Historian sidecar runtime comments (x86 -> x64, matching the
csproj PlatformTarget). Solution audit: 0 vulnerable packages; full build clean.

Joseph Doherty 2b811477d1 chore(build): introduce central package management for v2
Adds Directory.Packages.props (ManagePackageVersionsCentrally) and
Directory.Build.props (net10.0/nullable/implicit usings/LangVersion latest).
Strips Version attributes from every csproj PackageReference and consolidates
versions into the central file.

Side fixes (necessary to keep the build green on .NET SDK 10.0.105 on macOS):

- Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.CSharp{,.Workspaces}: 5.3.0 -> 5.0.0. The 5.3.0
analyzer DLL references compiler 5.3.0.0 and the local SDK ships compiler
5.0.0.0, producing CS9057 on every project that loaded the Analyzers
output. Master itself was broken on this machine pre-change.
- Server + Server.Tests pin OPCFoundation.NetStandard.Opc.Ua.{Configuration,
  Client} to 1.5.374.126 via VersionOverride, matching Opc.Ua.Server's
  pin. Mixing 1.5.378.106 Opc.Ua.Core transitively with 1.5.374.126
  Opc.Ua.Server breaks CustomNodeManager2 override signatures
  (CS0115 on LoadPredefinedNodes/Browse/HistoryRead*) and CS7069 in
the tests. The pin disappears when the legacy Server project is
  deleted in Task 56.
- Client.UI + Client.UI.Tests: NuGetAuditSuppress for
  GHSA-xrw6-gwf8-vvr9 (Tmds.DBus.Protocol 0.20.0 reaches both projects
transitively from Avalonia.Desktop on Linux/macOS only).

Deviation from the plan: TreatWarningsAsErrors=true is NOT set in
Directory.Build.props because the pre-v2 Admin/Server test projects carry
~240 xUnit1051 analyzer warnings that would fail the build. New v2 projects
opt in via their own csproj; the global flag can return once the legacy
projects are deleted in Task 56.

Joseph Doherty 77b8686199 fix(driver-abcip): resolve Low code-review findings (Driver.AbCip-007,011,012,013,015)
- Driver.AbCip-007: inject an optional ILogger<AbCipDriver> /
ILogger<AbCipAlarmProjection> (default NullLogger) and log around
  every read / write / template-fetch / probe / alarm-poll failure path.
- Driver.AbCip-011: LogWarning when InitializeAsync is configured with
Probe.Enabled=true but ProbeTagPath is blank — operators now see why
  GetHostStatuses keeps reporting Unknown.
- Driver.AbCip-012: documented the LibplctagTemplateReader per-call
Tag cost as accepted given libplctag's own connection pool and the
  low-frequency discovery use-case.
- Driver.AbCip-013: per-device AllowPacking + ConnectionSize overrides
on AbCipDeviceOptions, threaded through AbCipTagCreateParams; central
BuildCreateParams helper replaces five ad-hoc clones; AllowPacking
  now reaches Tag.AllowPacking at runtime.
- Driver.AbCip-015: stale-comment sweep — every PR-N forward-reference
is rewritten to describe present behaviour.

Joseph Doherty 17432bb1a4 fix(driver-abcip): correct Driver.AbCip-005 approach and fix 014 tests
Finding 005 revised approach: keep the parent Structure tag in
`_tagsByName` so the whole-UDT grouping planner can find it (required
for Driver.AbCip-003 opt-in path + alarm projection). Instead, detect a
direct read of a Structure-with-Members in `ReadSingleAsync` and return
`BadNotSupported` rather than Good/null — explicitly documenting the
contract that callers must address member paths. Duplicate-key checks
(scalar and member fan-out) remain.

Finding 014 test corrections: `Structure_parent_tag_read_returns_BadNotSupported`
now asserts the new contract. `Read_UDInt_tag_returns_uint_value_not_negative_wrapped_int`
assertion fixed to use `ShouldBeOfType<uint>()` instead of
`ShouldNotBe(-1)` (Shouldly overflows comparing uint.MaxValue with int).

Joseph Doherty 9008c6e7aa fix(driver-abcip): resolve Medium code-review finding (Driver.AbCip-014)
Add regression tests for the Medium findings resolved in this series:
- AbCipDataType_maps_large_integer_types (theory: LInt→Int64, ULInt→UInt64,
  UDInt→UInt32) and Read_UDInt_tag_returns_uint_value_not_negative_wrapped_int
  cover Driver.AbCip-004.
- Structure_parent_tag_is_not_readable_after_member_fan_out,
  InitializeAsync_throws_on_duplicate_tag_name, and
  InitializeAsync_throws_when_member_name_collides_with_independent_tag
  cover Driver.AbCip-005.
- Read_failure_evicts_runtime_so_next_read_creates_fresh_handle covers
  Driver.AbCip-010.
AbCipDriverTests.AbCipDataType_maps_atomics_to_driver_types extended with
LInt/ULInt/UDInt assertions.

Joseph Doherty 37945deb0a fix(driver-abcip): resolve Medium code-review finding (Driver.AbCip-006)
`PlcTagHandle` and `DeviceState.TagHandles` were dead scaffolding: the
`ReleaseHandle` no-op never called `plc_tag_destroy` and the dict was
never populated. Removed the file, the dead dict, and its
`DisposeHandles` loop. Updated the `AbCipDriver` class doc to document
that native lifetime is owned by libplctag.NET `Tag.Dispose()` (invoked
from `DisposeHandles`) with the library's own finalizer covering any
GC-collected instances. Two test methods that only exercised the dead
`PlcTagHandle` class removed from `AbCipDriverTests`.

Joseph Doherty 8a7668c678 fix(driver-abcip): resolve High code-review findings (Driver.AbCip-001, -002, -003, -008)
Driver.AbCip-001 — ReinitializeAsync silently discarded its config JSON.
Extracted AbCipDriverFactoryExtensions.ParseOptions; InitializeAsync now
re-parses a content-bearing driverConfigJson and replaces _options (and
recreates the alarm projection), so a reinitialize with a changed config
(new device/tag, changed timeout) actually takes effect. A blank or
empty-object JSON keeps construction-time options for the unit-test seam.

Driver.AbCip-002 — libplctag status mapping used wrong integer constants.
MapLibplctagStatus now switches on the libplctag.NET Status enum members
(Ok/Pending/ErrorTimeout/ErrorNotFound/ErrorNotAllowed/ErrorOutOfBounds/…)
instead of hand-typed natives, so timeout/not-found/not-allowed/out-of-bounds
get their specific OPC UA codes instead of all collapsing to
BadCommunicationError. The int overload casts to Status to stay correct
against the wrapper's contiguous renumbering.

Driver.AbCip-003 — whole-UDT reads decoded members at declaration-order
offsets, which Studio 5000 does not guarantee. Added the opt-in
AbCipDriverOptions.EnableDeclarationOnlyUdtGrouping flag (default false);
AbCipUdtReadPlanner.Build forms no groups when it is off, so by default
every UDT member reads per-tag rather than at possibly-wrong offsets.

Driver.AbCip-008 — probe loops were fire-and-forget and ShutdownAsync raced
them. Each probe Task is stored on DeviceState.ProbeTask; ShutdownAsync now
cancels every CTS, awaits each probe Task (10s timeout), then disposes the
CTS and handles. DeviceState.Runtimes/ParentRuntimes are ConcurrentDictionary
and the Ensure*RuntimeAsync paths use TryAdd, disposing the losing concurrent
creator instead of leaking a native tag handle.

Adds AbCipDriverCodeReviewRegressionTests and updates existing AbCip tests
to the corrected status constants + opt-in grouping flag. AbCip driver +
test project build clean; all 244 AbCip tests pass. (The full-solution
build has pre-existing, unrelated Driver.Galaxy protobuf-generation errors
in this worktree.)

Joseph Doherty a25593a9c6 chore: organize solution into module folders (Core/Server/Drivers/Client/Tooling)
Group all 69 projects into category subfolders under src/ and tests/ so the
Rider Solution Explorer mirrors the module structure. Folders: Core, Server,
Drivers (with a nested Driver CLIs subfolder), Client, Tooling.

- Move every project folder on disk with git mv (history preserved as renames).
- Recompute relative paths in 57 .csproj files: cross-category ProjectReferences,
the lib/ HintPath+None refs in Driver.Historian.Wonderware, and the external
mxaccessgw refs in Driver.Galaxy and its test project.
- Rebuild ZB.MOM.WW.OtOpcUa.slnx with nested solution folders.
- Re-prefix project paths in functional scripts (e2e, compliance, smoke SQL,
  integration, install).

Build green (0 errors); unit tests pass. Docs left for a separate pass.
