Each [abcip]/[ablegacy]/[focas]/[s7]/[twincat]/[opcuaclient] gap issue auto-closed when its PR (#317–#408) merged into auto/driver-gaps — a branch 184 commits ahead of its 2026-04-23 merge-base (tip 746c5dec, 2026-04-26) that was never merged to master. Spot-checks find no L5X/L5K import, TSAP, SZL reads, TC3 EventLogger, DH+, HSBY, Reverse Connect, FindServers, OperationLimits, ODBST, rdalmhistry or ADS sum-read on master; master S7DataType has no WString/DTL and S7.md still lists them deferred. Some features were later re-implemented independently.

  • Inventory the 92 issues: present on master / superseded by v3 / stranded

Resolved: the deliverable is the classified branch ledger, docs/plans/2026-10-08-driver-gaps-branch-ledger.md (0544287f on master). All 92 issues (#225-#316) were classified against master by symbol/file grep and docs: PRESENT 18, SUPERSEDED 9, STRANDED 61, UNCLEAR 4.

  • Inventory: done, per-issue verdict, evidence and port effort in the ledger.
  • Re-file the stranded ones: one porting-backlog issue per driver with a port-or-drop checkbox per item: S7 #632 (13), FOCAS #633 (15, writes policy decision first), AbCip #634 (11), OpcUaClient #635 (9), AbLegacy #636 (9), TwinCAT #637 (4). Recommended DROP: #256, #316, #304. The 4 UNCLEAR items are #638.
  • Archive/delete auto/driver-gaps, auto/driver-gaps-stash and refactor/galaxy-mxgateway-client-rename: deliberately not done here. The branch is the only copy of the reference code the backlog issues point at; delete it after the port-or-drop decisions, not before. (Ruling: nothing is lost by closing this issue, since the backlog is now tracked in #632-#638.)
