Joseph Doherty d32d89c340 fix(drivers): stop silently discarding driver config edits (§8.3, #516)
Five drivers ignored the config handed to them on reinitialize, serving the
options their constructor captured — and the deployment sealed green anyway.
Fixed on both halves, as chosen.

Seam (load-bearing): DriverSpawnPlanner routes a changed DriverConfig to
ToStop + ToSpawn instead of an in-place delta, making the factory the single
parse authority. This REVERSES the deliberate decision documented at
DriverSpawnPlan.cs:49-50 ("a pure DriverConfig change stays an in-place delta
— no reconnect"). That reasoning was correct about the resilience pipeline and
wrong about the driver. The accepted price is a reconnect per config edit.

Per-driver, and this split was not anticipated:
- Re-parse in place — Modbus, AbLegacy, OpcUaClient. ParseOptions extracted
from each factory, called from InitializeAsync behind a HasConfigBody guard
so "{}" still keeps the constructor options.
- Respawn-only, deliberately NOT re-parsed — Sql and FOCAS. Each builds more
than options from config (Sql's dialect + resolved connection string,
FOCAS's client-factory backend, both injected at construction), so adopting
new options alone would run a NEW tag set against an OLD connection. Half a
re-parse is worse than none. SqlDriver's doc-comment asserted the opposite
premise — "config parsing belongs to the factory, which builds a fresh
instance" — which was false when written and is true only now.

Two green seals removed from ApplyChildDelta: it overwrote the cached Spec
synchronously BEFORE the child dequeued the message, so the host believed the
new config was live and the next reconcile computed no delta, sealing the
drift permanently; and it Tell'd with no Receive<ApplyResult> registered, so a
failed reinit — including Galaxy's deliberate NotSupportedException —
dead-lettered.

Exposed (not created) by the change: a factory throw is a CONFIG error, and
SpawnChild catches it and silently substitutes a stub. Only a brand-new driver
could reach that before; an ordinary config edit can now. Raised Warning ->
Error with an actionable message. It still does not fail the deployment —
doing so would let one malformed driver block a fleet deploy, so that is a
follow-up rather than a drive-by.

Tests: every pre-existing reinit test in these suites passes "{}", the exact
input a guarded re-parser treats as "keep constructor options" — blind to this
defect by construction. New tests pass CHANGED json; the Modbus one was
verified falsifiable by deleting the re-parse (goes red). Two tests asserted
the old behaviour and were rewritten, including the positive control in
DriverHostActorUnreadableArtifactTests, whose observable moved from
UnsubscribeAsync to ShutdownAsync now that teardown happens by stopping the
child rather than emptying its desired set.

Remaining full-suite failures are pre-existing and environmental, verified
identical on the pre-change tree: Host.IntegrationTests (3) and
Driver.AbLegacy.IntegrationTests (4, docker fixture-gated).

Joseph Doherty 8b2c3fa04c v3(focas): adopt Modbus RawTagEntry exemplar (multi-device)
- Rename FocasEquipmentTagParser -> FocasTagDefinitionFactory; TryParse ->
FromTagConfig(tagConfig, rawPath, out def). Drop leading-{ heuristic + the
deviceHostAddress blob key; def.Name = rawPath. Add inverse ToTagConfig.
writable: absent -> read-only, explicit true honoured (note preserved).
- FocasDriverOptions.Tags -> RawTags (IReadOnlyList<RawTagEntry>).
- FocasDriver: _tagsByRawPath (Ordinal); byName-only resolver; build table from
RawTags via FromTagConfig; multi-device routing threads RawTagEntry.DeviceName
  -> ResolveDeviceHost match against options.Devices -> def.DeviceHostAddress
(TODO v3 WaveC: live host from Device row DeviceConfig). Tolerant per-tag
  skip+log (mapper/address/matrix miss -> BadNodeIdUnknown); unknown device
  fails init fast.
- Factory: bind List<RawTagEntry> RawTags; retire FocasTagDto/ParseDataType.
- CLI FocasCommandBase.BuildOptions -> RawTags via ToTagConfig + DeviceName.
- Tests: FocasRawTags helper; migrate Tags= -> RawTags=; rename parser tests to
FromTagConfig; rewrite retired blob-ref tests (equipment-tag/capability-gate/
resolve-host) onto authored RawPath. 272 driver + 52 CLI green.

Adds <summary>/<param>/<returns>/<inheritdoc> where missing and removes
project bookkeeping IDs (task/tracking refs) from shipped code comments,
so the docs read cleanly and CommentChecker is quiet except for known
false positives (PLC/protocol terms, event/IEqualityComparer inheritdoc).
Doc/comment-only; no logic changed; solution builds clean.

Joseph Doherty 235b8b8e6d fix(focas): serialize per-device wire I/O + bound reads; tolerate AdminUI config formats
Equipment tags were stuck at Bad_WaitingForInitialData on the deployed driver: the equipment poll, fixed-tree loop, probe and recycle shared one FOCAS/2 socket with no serialization, and the steady-state read had no timeout — concurrent reads collided and a stalled read hung forever, never overwriting the node's initial-data seed.

- SynchronizedFocasClient: per-device SemaphoreSlim gate + per-call timeout around every wire op (Connect/Probe gated, not double-bounded); wired in EnsureConnectedAsync. ReadAsync/WriteAsync map a per-call timeout to BadCommunicationError instead of rethrowing.
- FlexibleStringConverter on FOCAS config Series: the AdminUI persists the enum as a number ("series":6); accept number-or-string instead of throwing -> stub.
- FocasHostAddress.TryParse tolerates a scheme-less {ip}[:{port}] (AdminUI hostAddress form); canonical focas:// unchanged, malformed schemes still rejected.

247 FOCAS tests green; each fix has a regression test. Live-validated on wonder-app-vd03 (tags read Good).

Joseph Doherty 5c5aaef609 fix(focas): fail-fast at init on unimplemented backend (operator footgun)
Add IFocasClientFactory.EnsureUsable() — a config-time probe called by
FocasDriver.InitializeAsync before any background loops start. The
UnimplementedFocasClientFactory throws NotSupportedException immediately
(faulting the driver at init), eliminating the footgun where a driver on
the 'unimplemented' backend appeared Healthy then failed every read/write/
subscribe silently. WireFocasClientFactory and FakeFocasClientFactory are
no-ops. Backstop Create() throw remains in place.

Joseph Doherty 46f559f5f9 perf(focas): cache equipment-tag parsed addresses (no per-call reparse)
Equipment tags resolved at runtime via FocasEquipmentTagParser were not
seeded in _parsedAddressesByTagName so both ReadAsync and WriteAsync
re-parsed the raw TagConfig JSON address string on every hot-path call.
Promoted the field to ConcurrentDictionary (read + write thread safety)
and introduced ResolveParsedAddress(GetOrAdd) so the first call stores
the parse result and all subsequent calls are a cache hit. Authored tags
seeded at InitializeAsync compile and work unchanged.

Joseph Doherty 6575c6e5f6 fix(driver-focas): resolve Low code-review findings (Driver.FOCAS-007,008,009,010,011)
- Driver.FOCAS-007: optional ILogger<FocasDriver> + alarm-projection
logger; log Debug around every formerly-empty catch (probe / shutdown
  / fixed-tree / recycle / alarms-read / projection).
- Driver.FOCAS-008: cache the parsed FocasAddress per tag at
InitializeAsync; Read/WriteAsync look it up instead of re-parsing on
  every call.
- Driver.FOCAS-009: ProbeLoopAsync now wraps client.ProbeAsync in a
linked CTS honouring Probe.Timeout so a hung CNC socket can't block
  past the configured limit.
- Driver.FOCAS-010: FocasOperationModeExtensions.ToText delegates to
  FocasOpMode.ToText — single canonical op-mode label surface.
- Driver.FOCAS-011: FocasAlarmType constants are typed short to match
the cnc_rdalmmsg2 wire field and the projection switch arms.

Joseph Doherty 5b5e9ad83b fix(driver-focas): resolve Medium code-review finding (Driver.FOCAS-003)
Throw InvalidOperationException at InitializeAsync when a tag's
DeviceHostAddress does not match any entry in the Devices list, naming
both the tag and the unresolved host. Previously the missing-device
check was guarded by a TryGetValue so a typo silently bypassed
capability-matrix validation and deferred the error to per-read
BadNodeIdUnknown — the opposite of the documented "fail at load" goal.

Also resolves findings 004, 005, and 006 in the same file:
- 004: DiscoverAsync now unconditionally emits ViewOnly for all user
tags; the Writable config field no longer influences security class
because the wire backend always returns BadNotWritable.
- 005: All _health reads use Volatile.Read and all writes use
Volatile.Write so concurrent readers observe a consistent reference
and read-modify-write sequences capture a stable snapshot.
- 006: EnsureConnectedAsync disposes and nulls any existing
non-connected client before creating a fresh one, preventing
ObjectDisposedException loops after a HandleRecycle race or teardown.

Joseph Doherty c9e446387a fix(driver-focas): resolve High code-review findings (Driver.FOCAS-001, Driver.FOCAS-002)
Driver.FOCAS-001: FocasDriverConfigDto exposed no FixedTree / AlarmProjection /
HandleRecycle sections, so a deployment that opted into those features per
docs/drivers/FOCAS.md had the sections silently dropped by case-insensitive
JSON parsing and the features stayed at their disabled defaults. Added
FocasFixedTreeDto / FocasAlarmProjectionDto / FocasHandleRecycleDto and Build*
mappers in CreateInstance that populate the matching FocasDriverOptions
properties; a missing section or field keeps its existing default.

Driver.FOCAS-002: the fixed-tree bootstrap probe classified ProgramInfo as
"supported" whenever GetProgramInfoAsync returned non-null, but WireFocasClient
.GetProgramInfoAsync substituted defaults instead of throwing on a FOCAS error
return, so a CNC series answering EW_FUNC/EW_NOOPT for cnc_exeprgname2 /
cnc_rdopmode still got the Program/ and OperationMode/ subtrees. The method now
throws InvalidOperationException when neither the program-name nor the op-mode
read is IsOk, so SafeTryProbe correctly suppresses the capability.

Added FocasFactoryConfigTests covering the three opt-in config sections
round-tripping through CreateInstance and the fixed-tree bootstrap classifying
ProgramInfo as unsupported when the probe throws. Added an internal
FocasDriver.Options test seam.

Joseph Doherty a25593a9c6 chore: organize solution into module folders (Core/Server/Drivers/Client/Tooling)
Group all 69 projects into category subfolders under src/ and tests/ so the
Rider Solution Explorer mirrors the module structure. Folders: Core, Server,
Drivers (with a nested Driver CLIs subfolder), Client, Tooling.

- Move every project folder on disk with git mv (history preserved as renames).
- Recompute relative paths in 57 .csproj files: cross-category ProjectReferences,
the lib/ HintPath+None refs in Driver.Historian.Wonderware, and the external
mxaccessgw refs in Driver.Galaxy and its test project.
- Rebuild ZB.MOM.WW.OtOpcUa.slnx with nested solution folders.
- Re-prefix project paths in functional scripts (e2e, compliance, smoke SQL,
  integration, install).

Build green (0 errors); unit tests pass. Docs left for a separate pass.
