The Run-inbound-API-method pane rendered one text box per top-level schema
field and coerced the text on the page; an array/object field went through
JsonNode.Parse and, on failure, was SENT AS A STRING, while an empty box was
silently dropped. A required array-of-object parameter (MesMoveOut WorkOrders)
could not be entered at all — QA runs reached the site with "WorkOrders":[].
- The method pane now renders the same shared ParameterValueForm the script
pane uses (typed inputs, nested groups, add/remove list item editors,
$ref:lib: resolution, inline validation), keyed on the method id so a change
of method remounts it. The page keeps ONE value tree and BuildParameters()
serializes it as-is; the flat _inputs / Coerce() / SetInput path is deleted.
- Form | Raw JSON toggle: raw mode is a Monaco json editor for the whole
request body, given the method's root schema for completion, parsed and
schema-validated (InboundApiSchema.Validate) on every edit with the error
inline. Entering raw mode seeds the editor from the tree; leaving it
re-mounts the form over the last valid tree.
- Run is disabled while the form or the raw document is invalid (a required
field left empty disables Run before the first keystroke).
- localStorage per-method entry stores the value tree; on restore it is
validated against the schema and dropped if invalid, which also retires the
pre-#37 flat string-per-field entries.
- ParameterValueForm.ToJsonSchema / JsonElementToObject made internal static
for page reuse.
- Tests: 7 new bUnit tests (WorkOrders array-of-object round-trip to the
RunMethodAsync payload, required list-item gating, invalid raw JSON blocks
Run + shows parse/schema/non-object errors, valid raw JSON sent verbatim and
survives the switch back to the form, method switch resets, persisted tree
restored, legacy flat entry dropped); existing method-pane tests moved to
the form's #param-<field> ids and fill the required field before Run.
Playwright smoke selector moved to #param-Text.
- Docs: design doc, Component-CentralUI.md entry-points bullet, CLAUDE.md.
CentralUI.Tests 1425/1425 green; Playwright project builds.

Three final-review findings on the two picker pages:
1. DebugView's localStorage auto-reconnect restored the stored instance id with
no membership check, where the ?instanceId= path has one — a stored instance
that is no longer Enabled (or was deleted, or moved sites) is filtered out of
the list the picker is handed, so the field rendered blank while the page held
a non-zero id and auto-connected to it anyway. The guard now mirrors the
deep-link path: forget the stored instance id, tell the operator, and leave the
site selected and loaded so they can pick again.
2. FlowDebugger's _instances kept an OrderBy(UniqueName) from the flat <select>
era; InstanceTreeBuilder sorts areas and instances itself.
3. The deep-link test is joined by one where the instance sits two areas deep, so
the field text is pinned to resolve from the flat list with the panel never
opened.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
Both Flow Debugger and Debug View enable the shared InstancePicker as soon as
_selectedSiteId lands, but Blazor renders at the site-change handler's first
await — at which point the picker is still holding the PREVIOUS site's Areas /
Instances lists. Typing into the field in that window (an operator, or
Playwright's FillAsync, which waits only for "enabled") was silently lost: the
picker compares both lists by reference, so the freshly-assigned lists read as
"the site changed" and it clears the field text and closes the panel.
Both pages now hold an _instancesLoading flag across the whole load — set before
the first await, cleared in a finally so a fault or a site-scope refusal cannot
leave the picker disabled forever — and fold it into the picker's Disabled
expression. InstancePicker itself is unchanged.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
Pins the site-change behaviour the picker's reference contract exists for: after
picking an instance, switching the site select empties both the page's
_selectedInstanceId and the picker's field text (the new site hands it a
different instance list), and leaves the script select on its placeholder.
Layout: the Instance column goes col-md-2 → col-md-3 so a full instance name
fits — the script-entry branch still sums to 8 of 12 (site 2 + instance 3 +
script 3), and Method never renders beside them — with the placeholder
shortened to "Search instances…" for the narrower field.

Task 5 review follow-ups:
- New DebugViewInstancePickerTests.WhileConnected_ThePickerIsDisabled pins that
a live connection locks the picker: both the input and the chevron carry
`disabled`. It marks the page connected by reflection, the way the other
DebugView page tests do (DebugViewAlarmTableTests) — driving the real gRPC
stream is not available to a bUnit render.
- OnInstanceSelectionChanged() was already a no-op and its comment described the
@bind that the picker replaced; deleted, and OnInstancePicked now just records
the id (XML-documented).
- The ItemLabel lambda is hoisted to a private static InstanceLabel(Instance),
passed as a method group.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
The script entry's flat instance <select> is replaced by the shared
InstancePicker combobox (design 2026-09-08 §3): the site's areas load
alongside its instances in LoadInstancesAsync and are held in fields, so the
picker sees one stable list reference per site and only closes its panel on a
real site change. Picking a row raises the id, which OnInstancePickedAsync
applies before running the unchanged OnInstanceChangedAsync — the deep link,
the localStorage restore and the site-scope gate are untouched.
Tests: the five instance-select .Change("7") call sites go through a
PickInstance helper (open the panel, click the data-instance-id row), plus a
new test that areas open collapsed and only reveal the instance once both
levels are expanded, and one that ?instanceId= shows the instance name in the
picker field.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
The flat instance <select> on Debug View is replaced by the shared
InstancePicker area-tree combobox (design 2026-09-08 §3): the page now loads
the site's areas alongside its Enabled instances in LoadInstancesForSite and
hands both lists to the picker with ItemLabel = "UniqueName (State)",
Disabled="@_connected" and DataTestPrefix="debug-instance".
Both lists are now REPLACED rather than cleared in place wherever the site
changes (LoadInstancesForSite, StartFresh) — the picker compares Areas and
Instances by reference and a new object is what tells it the site changed.
The ?siteId=/?instanceId= deep link and the localStorage reconnect keep
setting _selectedInstanceId directly; the picker reads it on parameter set,
so both paths are unchanged.

Design D6 / §9 says a Live run is a Deployer act while Replay needs only
OperationalAudit, but the page and all three FlowDebug* commands were gated on
Deployer. The Audit Log and Execution Chain pages -- themselves OperationalAudit
-- show an "Open in Flow Debugger" drill-in that an auditor could not follow.
Implements the split:
- New `RequireFlowDebugger` policy over `FlowDebuggerAccessRoles`
{Deployer, Administrator, Viewer}; the page now carries it instead of
`RequireDeployment`.
- `FlowDebugReplayCommand` takes the same role set in the ManagementActor
matrix; `FlowDebugRunMethodCommand` / `FlowDebugRunValueChangeCommand` stay
DeployerOnly.
- The page resolves `_canLive` (Deployer) in OnInitializedAsync and, without it,
pins the mode to Replay, hides the entry-point and mode toggles, the Run
button and the Live pickers, honours only the `?executionId=` drill-in, and
leaves the parked-node Retry/Discard callbacks unset so those buttons never
render. `CanRun`, `SetMode(Live)` and `ActOnStepAsync` repeat the check so the
split does not rest on markup alone.
The NavMenu entry stays inside the Deployer-gated Deployment section -- auditors
arrive through the audit drill-ins, which is the point of the finding.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
Found in a browser Live run on the rig: the run drew API, DB and Notify nodes from
its inline rows; the 5 s pending-refresh re-read the tree through Replay before the
site's cached-call telemetry (12 s) had reached central, swapped the graph wholesale,
and the resolved DB node vanished (7 -> 6 steps) until a manual refresh. Polling had
already stopped because nothing was Pending.
MergeRefreshedGraph now unions the re-read rows into the run's known rows by EventId
(fresh copy wins), stores the union back on _raw and rebuilds through
FlowGraphBuilder, so a refresh only ever adds nodes. The union is exact: the inline
rows are the same AuditEvent objects the site writer persists (FlowTraceCollector).
Tests: new PendingRefresh_KeepsStepsTheLiveRunAlreadyHad_WhenReplayLagsBehindTelemetry
(fails on the old code). Two existing fixtures were internally inconsistent and only
passed under the old replace semantics: ParkedThenResolved built its Resolved outcome
with the Parked raw rows, and OutboundOutcome minted fresh event/correlation ids per
call, so no row could ever match across live and replay. Both now share rows per run.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
Notify.Send mints NotificationId as Guid "N" (no dashes) and the outbox parses it back into
the audit row's CorrelationId, so the Flow Debugger's Notify node linked and relayed a "D"
string the Notifications table never matches (found live: the report opened empty). The
link and RetryNotificationRequest now use "N", and the Notification report normalises any
Guid-shaped ?correlationId= to "N" so Audit Log and Flow Debugger callers both land.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
The page wires FlowStepDetail's OnRetry/OnDiscard to IFlowDebugService.RetryOutboundAsync /
DiscardOutboundAsync behind the same site-scope re-check and confirm wording the Site Calls /
Notification report pages use, toasts the relay outcome, and on success re-polls Replay (same
5 s / 2 min loop) until the acted node leaves Parked. Also drops a duplicated ?correlationId=
test block that a concurrent index-only commit left in QueryStringDrillInTests.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
After a successful Live run whose graph has Pending outbound steps the page
re-reads the tree through the existing Replay command every 5 s for up to
2 min (page constants), merging by replacing the graph and keeping the
selection by event id; never in Replay mode; cancelled by a new run, a mode
switch or Dispose. Status strip gains a Pending count, a 'Refresh outcomes'
button (both modes) and an 'outcomes still arriving' note while polling. The
run's own timing and the Completed chip are left alone — pending outbound
work is not a failed run. Plan 2026-09-06 D5.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcMG6xXdsJbmD2wYAgkK29
A folded outbound step shows a Lifecycle tab (time · kind · status · node ·
error, oldest first; a Parked step adds the 'retry or discard from Site Calls /
Notification report' hint), replaces the never-populated Writes tab for those
steps, labels the Input tab Request / SQL + parameters / Subject + body by kind,
and 'Where this ran' names the System / Connection / List plus 'Delivered by'
(the terminal row's node). Pending/Parked outcome badges.

Three fetch initiators (search debounce, paging, push/coalesce reload) could
each have a LoadDataAsync flight in flight at once; completion order was not
call order, so a slow, stale flight could resolve after a newer one and
clobber the grid the operator was already looking at. Add a monotonic
_requestGeneration counter, bumped at fetch start and checked at apply —
last-write-wins by generation, not by whichever await resolves first.
Separately, the filter-debounce timer wrote `_currentPage = 1` directly on
its raw System.Threading.Timer callback thread — a Blazor threading
violation, since component state may only be mutated on the renderer's
sync context — and that write was not covered by the generation guard at
all. LoadDataAsync now takes a resetToFirstPage flag, resolves the target
page into a local, and applies it only behind the same generation check as
every other piece of state, via a new DispatchFilterReloadAsync that
marshals through InvokeAsync like the existing push-reload path.
Tests (DeploymentsRequestGenerationTests, bUnit): a delayed stale flight
arriving after a newer one does not overwrite the grid; a stale
filter-debounce flight does not reset the page after a newer navigation.
Both driven deterministically via TaskCompletionSource-backed repository
stubs. Verified to fail against the unfixed code (swapped via
`git show HEAD:<path>`, not `git stash` — repo-wide and unsafe across the
parallel worktree wave).
A debug-stream session created after the consumer had already gone away was
leaked permanently. Both consumers awaited StartStreamAsync (up to 30s) and only
then published the session; a circuit teardown / client disconnect inside that
window ran the release path first, found nothing registered and stopped nothing.
The session stayed registered in the singleton DebugStreamService, whose
keepalive renews registered sessions forever (the 5-minute orphan reaper only
collects UNregistered ones), pinning the site gRPC subscription, the
DebugStreamBridgeActor and the dead consumer's object graph until process
restart.
Both call sites now publish the session and re-check liveness under a single
monitor, so exactly one side tears it down and neither can miss it:
- DebugView.Connect/Dispose/Disconnect share a _sessionLock; Dispose sets
_disposed and takes the session in one step, Connect publishes only if not
disposed and otherwise stops the session it just created. Dispose can run off
the renderer's thread, so the Blazor sync context is not relied on. Disconnect
and the onTerminated callback go through the same take-once helper, which also
makes a repeated Dispose stop-once instead of stop-again.
- DebugStreamHub uses the per-connection Items monitor: OnDisconnectedAsync marks
the connection gone before releasing, SubscribeInstance publishes only if
neither that flag nor ConnectionAborted is set, and UnsubscribeInstance takes
the id atomically.
DebugStreamService.StartStreamAsync/StopStream become virtual purely as a test
seam (no behaviour change, keepalive/orphan contract untouched) so the race can
be driven deterministically by a gated stub.
Tests: DebugViewConnectDisposeRaceTests (3) + DebugStreamHubSubscribeRaceTests
(3). Verified fail-unfixed: with the two source fixes stashed, both
dispose-mid-start tests report zero StopStream calls and the DebugView
double-dispose test reports two.
Row 65 — trigger FIRED, fixed. BundleUnlockAttempt rows were pruned only by
nodes actively serving unlocks, so a cluster that stopped importing entirely
left its last rows in place forever. The row's own trigger was "Transport gains
a central scheduler a prune tick could ride" — it has one now:
BundleSessionEvictionService, the central-only 1-minute session sweep added by
the transport-session fixes. It now also ticks the new
IBundleUnlockAttemptWindow.PruneAsync. Both drivers share the ONE 15-minute CAS
cadence claim, so ticking on a 1-minute sweep costs at most one bounded DELETE
per quarter hour and the two can never prune concurrently. PruneAsync is
contractually non-throwing (unlike TryRegisterAttemptAsync, which throws and
lets the limiter own the fail-open decision) — a background sweep has no caller
to report to and must survive a database blip. Both Transport docs updated;
three tests in FleetWideUnlockThrottleTests, incl. the retention sweep running
with no unlock traffic anywhere in the test, which is the whole point.
Row 58 — closed with a pin, and the OLD pin was found blind. The existing
Deployments_Dispose_UnsubscribesFromNotifier is behavioural: it is satisfied by
the _disposed guard alone, so deleting the `-=` from Dispose leaves it green
while the singleton notifier keeps a delegate pinning the circuit-scoped
component. Verified by mutation — with the `-=` removed the old test still
passed and only the two new pins failed. Added:
* a structural retention pin asserting the notifier's invocation list actually
shrinks to 0 on Dispose;
* a source scan pinning the row's stated TRIGGER ("a second page subscribes,
or any subscriber lands without a matching Dispose unsubscribe") — every
CentralUI file that subscribes must also unsubscribe and be IDisposable,
with a non-empty guard so the scan cannot pass vacuously.
Row 60 — closed with a pin, and the register's premise corrected.
GlobalArtifactSnapshot does NOT hold EF-materialised entities: it is projected
into pure Commons DTOs before the fan-out. The EF state that genuinely crosses
into the parallel send is the tracked Site entities the lambda closes over, and
that is safe only while lazy loading is off. Pinned in ConfigurationDatabase
.Tests two ways — no proxies extension on the built DbContextOptions, and no
EntityFrameworkCore.Proxies package reference anywhere in the repo (the
structurally stronger half: UseLazyLoadingProxies() is not a compilable call
without it). The real invariant is now spelled out at the fan-out itself.
Row 59 — no product change; added the missing tripwire remark stating the
constraint the safety argument rests on (serial by design, one scoped DbContext,
do not Task.WhenAll; if it gets slow the fix is a scope PER SITE, not a shared
scope under fan-out). Line numbers in the register have drifted to :528-545.
Rows 36, 37, 64: verification only, no change — see the sweep report.
The Deployment Status page client-materialized the whole deployment list. It read
EVERY DeploymentRecord — an insert-only table, one row per deploy attempt for the
retention window — plus EVERY Instance, then site-scoped, sorted, counted the four
status tiles and sliced a 25-row page in the Blazor circuit's memory. That ran on
first render AND on every IDeploymentStatusNotifier push, so the cost scaled with
the age of the system rather than the size of the page.
All four jobs move into SQL:
- `IDeploymentManagerRepository.QueryDeploymentListPageAsync(filter, page, size)`
returns one page of `DeploymentListRow` — DeploymentRecord INNER JOINed to
Instance, so the instance display name and site travel with the rows that need
them — plus the total count of the filtered set. The join is exact: the FK is
Restrict and DeleteInstanceAsync removes the records first, so no orphan exists.
- `GetDeploymentStatusCountsAsync(filter)` returns the tile counts from ONE grouped
aggregation, deliberately ignoring the filter's Status: the tiles are the status
BREAKDOWN of the filtered set, so honouring it would zero three of four tiles the
moment an operator clicked one.
- Site scoping runs in the query as `SiteIdScope` resolved through the record's
instance (DeploymentRecord has no SiteId of its own). An EMPTY grant stays a real
filter matching nothing, never "unconstrained".
- The now-callerless whole-table `GetAllDeploymentRecordsAsync` is deleted.
OFFSET paging, not the Audit Log's keyset cursor, and deliberately so: this page's
pager is numbered and jump-to-any-page, so it needs a page count, which only a total
can give it — a keyset cursor can express neither, and the total is required for the
tiles regardless. The deep-offset cost that pushes high-volume tables to keyset is
bounded here by the terminal-record retention purge, unlike the 365-day AuditLog.
This mirrors the Notification Outbox, offset-paged for the same reason. Ordering is
DeployedAt DESC, Id DESC — the Id tie-break is load-bearing, because DeployedAt ties
on rapid redeploys and an unstable sort key makes offset paging repeat or drop rows.
UI: the four status tiles become the status filter (click to apply, click again to
clear, aria-pressed, phrasing-only content so a <button> stays valid), plus a
free-text search matched DB-side against instance name, deployment id, revision hash
and initiating user. Search is TRAILING-edge debounced at 500ms — the same Timer +
lock + _disposed idiom as the existing leading-edge push coalescer, minus the leading
edge, because a search box must not query on the first keystroke. A filter change
resets to page 1; a page past the end falls back to the last real page. Bootstrap
only, existing PagerWindow pager retained.
The WP2.4 push coalescing is unchanged and still earns its keep: server paging shrank
what a reload costs, not how many arrive — it now bounds database round-trips rather
than table scans.
Tests: 19 new SQLite repository tests (paging slice + total, tie-break stability
across pages, page/size clamping, past-the-end, the joined projection, every filter
dimension incl. the empty-scope security case, and the grouped counts' status-blind
contract); 15 new bUnit page tests (page-1 request, server total drives the pager,
Next re-queries, tiles show server counts not page counts, tile filter + toggle,
system-wide vs site-scoped scope push, debounce collapses a keystroke burst to one
query, clear-filters, dispose with an armed timer). The two existing Deployments
suites re-point their reload assertions at the new query.
Doc: Component-CentralUI.md Deployment section — the "no server-side paging" known
residual is replaced by the shipped design.
Replace the two flat capped tables with a Bootstrap nav-tabs layout, each
tab hosting a TreeView<DebugTreeNode> built from the live latest-per-name
dictionaries via DebugTreeBuilder. Drop the MaxRows cap, auto-scroll locks,
and Clear buttons (change-feed affordances that don't fit a current-status
tree); HandleStreamEvent now does a plain dictionary upsert. Per-tab filters
ExpandAll on change so matches stay visible. Branch nodes surface roll-up
badges (active-count for alarms, bad-quality for attributes); native binding
nodes show active-count or 'no active conditions'. All existing badge helpers
and ValueFormatter reused. Marshalling/dispose/reconnect contract preserved
(SafeInvokeAsync/_disposed/Dispose unchanged; FilteredAttributeValues kept as
the render-thread dict reader the CentralUI-021 race test exercises).
Rework DebugViewAlarmTableTests for the tabbed-tree DOM: tab presence+default,
computed alarm grouped under its Motor1 branch with the active roll-up badge,
and a native condition nested under its source-binding node with the enriched
kind/severity/Unacked/Shelved badge set.
Computed alarms place as leaves at their path-qualified AlarmName; native conditions group under a deduped IsNativeBinding branch keyed by NativeSourceCanonicalName with condition children keyed canonical::sourceRef. Configured-placeholder events materialise a childless binding node. Alarm roll-up (WorstState/ActiveCount) excludes placeholders. Filter matches AlarmName/SourceReference/NativeSourceCanonicalName (OrdinalIgnoreCase) and retains ancestor + binding branches. 20 new TDD cases; 18 attribute cases stay green. No DebugTreeNode model changes.
Fix 1 (Important): RollUp_FourLevelDeepBadQuality_ReachesRoot — proves bad quality at a
4-segment-deep leaf propagates HasBadQuality up every ancestor to the root.
Fix 2 (Important): Filter_DeepLeafMatch_RetainsAllAncestorBranches — proves filtering on
a terminal segment of a 3-level path retains all ancestor branches.
Fix 3 (Minor): BuildAttributeTree now returns roots.AsReadOnly() so the returned
IReadOnlyList<DebugTreeNode> reference is not a mutable list.
Fix 4 (Minor): Added <remarks> XML doc to BuildAttributeTree noting the caller-contract
that at most one AttributeValueChanged per AttributeName should be passed.
All 18 DebugTreeBuilder tests pass.
Pure path-split composition forest from streamed AttributeValueChanged: branch dedupe by accumulated prefix, ordinal child sort, post-order bad-quality roll-up, case-insensitive name-contains filter (keeps ancestors). BuildAlarmTree left as a NotImplementedException stub for DV-4. 16 unit tests cover structure + roll-up + filter.
When overriding a List attribute, render the shared AttributeListEditor
(whole-list replacement; element type fixed by the base, shown read-only via
ShowElementType=false) instead of the single-line input. Loading an existing
override decodes its JSON into rows (malformed -> empty); saving encodes rows to
canonical JSON with a pre-submit Decode round-trip guard surfacing element
errors inline. Clearing removes the InstanceAttributeOverride row
(repository-direct, mirroring native-alarm-source overrides). Non-List override
UX unchanged.
